Merry Christmas everyone!! Anyways, today’s post is my review on the Caudalie Instant Detox Mask, which has been getting quite a bit of hype since it came out.
What it is:
A detoxifying mask that draws out accumulated toxins from clogged pores to revitalize and invigorate the complexion.Instant Detox Mask is like a traditional clay/mud mask that will draw out impurities, oils and tighten pores. This one shows instant results, I found a thin layer dried within 6 minutes (although you can leave it on the skin up to 10). This comes in a pink clay color that will dry and tighten after you apply it. As it dries you can see small dark spots where it’s drawing out the oils from your pores. I have never seen a mask shrink and tighten pores like this one does. It’s non-irritating and leaves the skin feeling super clean. If you have dry skin you may want to leave this on for a shorter period of time or just use this on spots.
What it is formulated to do:
True rehab for the skin, this Instant Detox Mask brings life to dull, tired skin. It clears the pores of impurities and toxins, purifies from pollution, and invigorates lackluster skin. Great to use before a night out or after a stressful week, it is enriched with grape marc to detoxify, pink clay and coffee to clarify, and papaya enzymes for a boost of immediate radiance.
– Grape Marc: Detoxifies and drains.
– Pink Clay and Coffee: Purify.
– Papaya Enzymes: Delivers immediate radiance.
– Eight Essential Oils: Nourish skin.

The packaging is a convenient fuss-free tube with a cute wooden lid that’s easy to get on and off the tube! The product itself is rich textured pink clay that’s very smooth. The color and scent remind me of Caladryl lotion mixed with essential oils. It looks quite silly when you apply it. You don’t need a ton of the mask to coat the face well but I’d do it slightly thicker over any current trouble spots. You can use it as a full mask or spot treatment and I use it as both.
One of the things I always worry about with clay masks is how dry they make my skin. But in reality, keeping your skin hydrated is vital to its health. That’s why I love Caudalíe’s mask: it’s made with eight essential oils that nourish your skin while the other ingredients do their work. Even though my skin feels stiff when the mask dries, it feels and looks great when I wash it off.I use this mask at least once a week, and I recommend it to anyone dealing with pore problems, oiliness, or dull skin. It’s also a great travel mask.
I really like this mask, but most of all, I like that it’s super fast and easy to use. It makes it great for traveling too since it’s quick and comes in a tube. I don’t think product is a real “problem fixer,” in that it won’t really address breakouts or anything like that. However, it’s great for maintaining your skin’s condition and pores. My skin feels cleaner and smoother after I use this, and I really like that my face doesn’t feel too stripped or dry either. I recommend this product as a routine mask to have on hand to help maintain the clarity of your skin, and to free your pores of impurities and oil!
HAVE YOU USED THIS MASK OR ANY OF THE OTHER CAUDALIE MASKS? IS THERE ANOTHER I SHOULD TRY FROM THIS RANGE?
