[REVIEW] Caudalie Vinoperfect Complexion Correcting Radiance Serum

In the previous post I told about the Vinoperfect Concentrated Brightening Essence, which I received from my beauty rewards sephora. Inside the package also include the Vinoperfect Radiance Serum, which you can read a review today.

If you don’t know about the Vinoperfect Complexion Correcting Radiance Serum, it was created in 2005 as a solution to dark spots. We hear about products nowadays all the time whose main goal is to combat hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is one of the most ageing things of all, sometimes it can make people look older than wrinkles can!

So what are dark spots caused by? A number of factors including sun exposure, aging, acne scars or pregnancy. And they are tricky little things to get rid of. Luckily, Caudalie has done the research and clinical trials to prove that their Radiance Serum really does combat dark spots.

This product boasts to contain Viniferine, a molecule isolated from grapevine sap. According to Caudalie, Viniferine has been proven to be 62 times more effective than vitamin C*, 4 times more effective than kojic acid and at least 13 times more effective than arbutin in boosting skin radiance and fighting dark spots.Supposedly, back in the old days, young women used the grapevine sap from vine stalks to help with dark spots as well as to clarify the skin.

The product itself has a very milky consistency. I wouldn’t say that it is totally runny and liquid—it does have a slight, creamy consistency. Upon application, I personally found it slightly harder to spread to all areas if I used the recommended amount (2-3 drops) I normally take whatever amount the whole dropper gives me, rub and warm the product with my hands and press it onto my skin. I found this to be the most effective. The product absorbed quickly into my skin and did not leave a sticky residue. My moisturizers, which happen to also come from the Caudalie Vinoperfect line layered easily on top of the serum without making it feel heavy or sticky.

The product itself has a milky color, but rather watery consistency. It has a pleasant light scent like almost all Caudalie products. The serum is spread out and absorbed rather quickly. I have heard people complaining about it being sticky, and I experienced that in the beginning myself. However, I quickly figured out as long as my face or palms are a tiny little bit moist (for example, right after I wash my face and pat it dry but before it air-dries), the serum can be patted in so easily, leaving no residue whatsoever. The formula is oil-free, so even though it is very hydrating, you might need a moisturizer on top depending on the condition of your skin.

What does this serum do? Pretty instantly my skin is more even-toned, smooth, and radiant. it does a good job taking the redness out. It always feels like my skin is basking in light after I use the serum. The result is both instant and lasting! I literally can’t believe my eyes or wait to use it twice a day. It’s hard to find a skincare product that is so exciting!

No skincare product can work wonders in such a short time. Some products will take years to see long-term anti-aging results. As for the dark spots I have, I think they have lightened up somehow. They are not gone, but nor do I really expect one tiny of these serum to really get rid of them. Caudalie claims the serum “corrects dark spots and prevents them from reappearing. the complexion is evened out and more radiant” I couldn’t have described it better. That’s exactly what it does for my skin.

I would definitely recommend Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum to everybody, since we could all use more even-toned and radiant skin! Using this serum is a pleasant experience, and it truly lives up to its claim. On top of that, the ingredient list is about the most impressive I have seen. If you are looking for a radiance-boosting serum, try this!

Yes, it does, thanks to all the above components. Apart from having the ability to make your skin healthy as fast as possible, this skin product also has other medicinal properties which include anti ageing as well as antioxidant properties.

I’ve experienced some positive results using the serum and night cream. Although I didn’t see much improvement on my dark spots, I’ve seen quite a noticeable brightening and evening effect on my skin over time. Even with my irregular sleep pattern, they’ve been kept my skin looking more awake and alive night after night XD. It hasn’t been dramatically noticeable though.
Have you tried the Caudalíe Radiance Serum? What did you think of it?
