While I was at Sephora Play house, I got a mini size sample of Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II and after try for 1 weeks, I was already experience some results. So today I’m going to review about this tiny serum.
Estée Lauder claims that this product has a “Natural Nighttime Purification Process” that is vital to maintain a youthful looking skin. You can expect some anti-aging benefits from probiotics (through exfoliation) and maybe the peptides, but I wouldn’t bet too much on it. Most of the effects you see will come from texture enhancement-and there are many products out there which can achieve the same results, at a fraction of the price.
The ingredients from the Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II contains an incredible blend of antioxidants, mangosteen, coneflower, sea lavender and seaweed to name but a few. If you’re looking for a boost for dull and tired skin or have fine lines or wrinkles, I’d really recommended these one for quick results as promised!
The serum texture is gel-like but leaning more towards the watery side, and is not heavy on the skin. In fact, it absorbs rather quickly into the skin. After diligent usage of the serum, I find my skin is much more radiant the morning after, and it feels more supple and looks more healthy. I can’t say that it magically transforms my skin, but you just can tell the difference your skin looks.
I have a combination skin type and this serum works really great for me as it’s oil-free, so my T-Zone is not getting clogged while using this serum. Since the serum features a super light and quickly absorbing consistency, it feels very light and not-sticky on the dry parts of my skin. I also appreciate the fact that serum is not fragranced which makes it suitable for sensitive skin (my skin is not overly sensitive as of lately, but it has moments so I have to be careful).
After 1 weeks experiment, I’m stoked to say that my skin transformed. It looks much less tired and dull, and every morning I wake up to plump, hydrated skin and a much brighter complexion. Plus, it’s comforting to know that I’m boosting my skin’s defences against environmental damage and the signs of ageing. It’s never too early to start either.
The good thing about Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair is that is should generally safe, even for people with sensitive skin. It’s a great moisturizer, and the brand advises it for use in people above 25 years old.
Will this work for everyone? If you have a pretty solid skincare regimen and are dabbing into much stronger formulations and concentrations of AHAs and BHAs, then you may not see a world’s difference when you convert to this. But for those who have a minor skincare regimen and are looking for a serum to “wow” them in their otherwise “Boring” or “Dab” routine, I urge you to give this a try!
I can’t tell the pro’s and con’s so far, I’ve just used only for 1 weeks and I didn’t notice any breakout or allergic, or redness during 1 weeks application. I also believe anti-ageing products take at least 2-3 months to show result. So, in comparison to that, my skin is definitely radiant and much more even toned but fine line and wrinkles, not lessen noticeably.
