Fenty Beauty by Rihanna continually succeeded hit the market and recently Rihanna release new “Summer Products” and Moroccan spice eyeshadow palette ($59). But today what I’m gonna sharing with you is the products has been launched last years. After finish up my Clio Kill Cover Foundation, I decided to try a new foundation and manage to buy some products of Fenty Beauty by Rihanna along the way and I’ve been using over 3 months. I can tell, yea I do enjoy a great highlighter and 40 shades color options of foundation, they have these subtle undertones shifts, which are brilliant..

This foundation is really great for anyone who is suffering to find a foundation that matches to their skin perfectly. Either is too yellow, too red or a ‘neutral’ that reads with a gray tint on your look. Which is now I finally found a foundation that is an exact match for me. Here’s my thought after 3 months test out some Fenty Beauty by Rihanna

The Primer Leaves “NO PEARL”…

PRO FILT’R Instant Retouch Primer ($32) is a hella pretty pink color. It’s described as universally flattering, it’s means suitable for all skin tones, and as far I can tell, it does not do any color correction. This primer has a very mild and non-bothering vanilla fragrance, and I love it.

The texture of the PRO FILT’R Instant Retouch Primer is very lightweight and feels ultra comfortable on the skin. It does not feel heavy or sticky at all and also does not leave any residue behind.  Even just with a fingers the primer is super easy to blend and spreads on the skin effortlessly and blends really well within few seconds. Gives a feeling soft matte finish to the skin and not cast any oily sheen behind, but after a few hours application-I do observe a light sheen in some area of my skin, which I believe is pretty normal for the humid weather where I lived and also my combination skin.

The brand claim this primer imparts a “Pore-Diffusing Finish”, but unfortunately it did not turn out to be great on my skin. I did not notice a huge difference in the size of my pores. Though, it smoothes skin slightly and makes my pores look slightly small, but honestly it does not really work on large skin pores. It’s not really worth the hype because there are many primer out there have the same result or even better to cover the pores, but I still love the satin matte finish.

The Foundation Earned The HYPE..

The first thing I want to tell you, PRO FILT’R Soft Matte Longwear Foundation ($34) changes color once it’s dry (or I should say – oxidizes). I appreciate that this getting-deep thing is clearly mentioned in Fenty Beauty website. The brand instructed to decide the shade match once your swatch is dry.

I truly amazed by the forty shades of foundation, from the lightest to the darkest, with a proper variation of undertones. I’d recommended heading to Sephora to try them out as a few of the shades look very similar, but slightly difference when apply undertones-means they may not work for you. I choose 170 cool-light shades which is 1 shade lighter from my skin tone as it’ll get oxidizes after a few hours. I’m a fair with neutral to golden undertone but it turn out as a pink based for me.

PRO FILT’R Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, works well with sponge or brush, the formula is light as air-texture , build easily and covers flaws but I found this foundation leave a little cakiness-maybe because I have a dry-oily combination skin, but without any cracks or fuss. As it’s matte, I find it doesn’t need a setting powder, but if you have an super oily skin-I recommended the INVISIMATTE Blotting Powder ($32) or your fave setting powder.

The Standout Products May Surprise You!!

Though I’ve been eyeing up the gorgeous gold TROPHY WIFE ($34) since it dropped, I went for a more natural finish with the shades LIGHTNING DUST/FIRE CRYSTAL ($34) and GIRL NEXT DOOR/CHIC PHREAK($34).

A little swipe again over my cheekbones and a dash over my eyelids and I’m feeling dewy, not doughnut-y. The KILLAWATT Freestyle Highlighter features a more subtle shades for light application, as well as a sparkle-infused option that provides a megawatt shine. I was impressed with the color payoff-a little goes a long way-as well as the easy blend ability of the pressed powder, the only downside the powder crack so easily-can tell I’m a little disappointed because this my fave highlighter.

What Separates Rihanna’s Lip Gloss From The Rest?

The Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($18) also lives up to the inclusivity hype, giving our testers a subtle pop of color that worked for everyone. It’s really flattering if a glossy lip is your thing. I found the lip gloss it’s to be hydrating but not sticky, and the rosy-nude had a little bit of shimmer. It gives you something, but doesn’t look like you’re doing the most.

Have you tried the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna? and what is your favorite so far?
